So, on our way to Glenn's in Mt Sterling, Illinois, we were able to stop by a quilt shop that I have followed on YouTube and on their website since I started quilting. Jenny from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. in Hamilton, Missouri has been putting up hundreds of tutorials on quilting since the start of their company 5 years ago. Their shop, online store and quilting services have brought 25+ jobs to their small town, as well as helping in the revitalization of their Main St. Anyway, as we approached the shop we ran into her son and daughter who proceeded to show us all around their quilt workshop and store and I got to meet their busy mom, Jenny (who is pretty famous in the quilting world, she teaches seminars and tours the country). She took the time to tell us about her business and listen to our stories. They were so hospitable, and we just had the best time meeting all the family. Made my day! ~~TC
