So Ron was left to find a campground in West Virginia, with few choices from our old standby KOA. After a couple of hours on the computer, (and clear frustration and a few curses), Ron came across a private campground called Cooter's Cabins and Campin'. When he called a lady answered with a simple "Hello", so he asked, "Is this Cooter's"?, she quickly responded, "No, this is his wife". We knew we had the right place.
The GPS couldn't recognize the address we had to use co-ordinates for the first time. Once we got to the town of Fayetteville, we drove and drove on narrow county roads, almost like private driveways, until finally we came to a homemade sign in a driveway! Then came Cooter racing down the hill on his quad and first thing he said was "You're early"! Well, it turns out the previous weekend was pretty much the end of their season and he had turned off the water. As you can see, we had this beautiful property all to ourselves. As for the Cooter, he is the nicest man you'll ever meet, so hospitable and just a great guy. Turns out we are his farthest away guests ever at over 2,500 miles. Another memorable stop and nice area to explore.

| Almost missed the sign! Cooter says if he had more signs he'd have to work harder! |
