Fell in love with Kentucky

Kentucky countryside is beautiful, hard to describe and even the pictures don't do it justice.  Never ending display of sprawling horse properties and huge homes.  We headed into Paducah finally for my National Quilting Museum stop that has been a circle on the map from the start of our planning.  Too bad they don't allow pictures, the artistry was outstanding!  Very inspiring to see what can be done with fabric, can't wait to get home to my machine!  Did another day trip to an area called the Land Between the Lakes.  It is exactly what it is titled, land between the Lake Barkley on the east and Kentucky Lake on the west.  It boasts a prairie for elk and bison to roam free, which we drove thru.  Just a beautiful park and reserve.
