Well, for the most part the last two days have been driving days. We left Moab UT on Friday morning and headed to Colorado on hwy 70. The weather was nice until we hit thunder and lightning just past Vail. The road construction made for a tiresome drive for Ron, but he's in his element driving. (Fine with me!) We made it the 330miles to Central City, CO and the KOA Campground by mid afternoon. The small town has casinos and some restaurants, so we decided to treat ourselves out. It was a nice time, and the campground was crowding up with Labor Day vacationers. Got an early start Saturday for the 236 miles to Kansas. We traveled the smaller hwy 36 thru farmland to see mile after mile of fields. The campground here is adequate and clean. Took a dip in the pool and we're looking forward to homemade breakfast given by the camp hosts every morning. ~TC
